What the business is

TTA builds and operates HowTo Aria — assistant software for small-business owners, especially owner-operators in the home-service and skilled trades (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, cleaning, landscaping, junk removal, auto repair and similar). The product is delivered as a web application, a desktop application, and an iOS application.

The problem it solves: a small-business owner spends hours every week on paperwork, missed calls, quoting, scheduling and follow-up instead of doing the work that earns money. Aria handles that back-office load so the owner stays on the tools.

Products and services we provide

Aria assistant (core product)

• Call handling — answers incoming business calls and takes messages when the owner can't pick up.
• Invoicing and receipts — creates and sends invoices and payment receipts to the owner's customers.
• Scheduling — books jobs and appointments, and keeps the owner's calendar current.
• Quoting and estimating — prepares job estimates from photos and job details using the owner's own pricing.
• Lead management — captures inbound leads from the owner's website and advertising, and alerts the owner.
• Research — looks up suppliers, parts, and prices on the owner's behalf.
• Screen-aware help — walks the owner through tasks on their own computer, step by step.
• Back-office support — routine administrative work, including help with hiring tasks.

Website building for customers

TTA also builds and hosts lead-generation websites for the small businesses that use Aria, across roughly 167 service categories. These sites include the business's real services, pricing, photos and contact details.

Platforms

Web application, Windows and macOS desktop applications, and an iOS application. Accounts are created by the business owner directly.

How consent (opt-in) is collected

We collect express written consent in two places. No message is ever sent to a number that has not opted in, and we never purchase, rent, or share phone number lists.

2. End-customer opt-in — on a business's own lead form

When someone contacts one of our customers through a website TTA hosts for that business, the contact form carries the same style of unchecked consent box before it can be submitted. A live example of one of these forms is publicly viewable at howtoaria.com/junk.

Program terms

• Message frequency: varies by account activity. Most recipients receive fewer than 10 messages per month.
• Cost: we do not charge for messages. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message to stop all further messages immediately.
• Help: reply HELP to any message, or email us at the address below.
• Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Data sharing: we do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. Numbers are used only to deliver the messages described above.
